Originally syndicated in October 1959 (on different nights, depending on the local station carrying it, 'audiophile'); Mike Maltese wrote the script, Ken Muse animated. The running gag of Snuffles and his dog biscuits was directly tied into the sponsor- Kellogg's also had a pet food division at the time, and one of their products was "Gro-Pup T-Bone Dog Biscuits" {Quick Draw occasionally held up the "Gro-Pup" package, minus the Kellogg's brand name}. Snuffles occasionally appeared in their ads.

After watching the good ole traditional no-nonsense well done film animation of Quick Draw, the cheap stuff on Saturday that kids are exposed to are feeding the wrong messages into their heads, too bad (ie, gang violence, sex oriented misleading and using life like humans to be so graphic to almost scare one when its supposed to be fun for kids and shouldn't be serious. Todays cartoons are anxious to make them older over night.
