  • Is it ok to use two plugs in the one hole? I tried one plug but the hole is too big. Two plugs seal it up.

  • @DiarmaidGNR There are times you can use TWO plugs, you do want to be sure the plugs are a tight fit in the puncture. Do you know what caused the damage? Best of luck.

  • @helpyoudiy I think it was a big headed roofing nail - judging by the imprint it left, it must have been in the tyre for a while and then came free. With one plug it there was no resistance putting in it, with two plugs there was an average amount of resistance. I'd say the hole was 1/4 of an inch.

  • @DiarmaidGNR Sounds like you got it under control. Remember, tire plugs are meant to be temporary eventhough many people use them as 'fixes' for the remaining life of the tire.(me included)
