I think that's because the Nano is much smaller, so the sound is a bit more concentrated, rather than the iPod touch and iPhone where the spund can be more absorbed inside the device.

@dzs145a6 it depends... if you want an ipod with a: radio, camera, louder sound, a couple games, and a very small and thin one (i also should mention the pedometer) you should. but otherwise the touch would still be ideal for you. (like if you want alot of free games and such)

The itouch isn't only for apps. Using the touch interface is fun as hell, and easier on music on the itouch. Also it's pretty much like a pocket computer. You can basically manage your life with it.
