I was there when it was demolished. For those wondering why it had to be demolished it was virtually a dying casino. As with all things, people are really picky about where they go. Now they go to the Venetian which was built in the same spot. The first day I was in Vegas I went to the Sands for steak and eggs breakfast at 4a.m. in the morning. That was a great time. Now you can have a great time in the Venetian and take a gondola ride. Sounds good. I must go there soon!
