No one is better than the other! Why did america won the revolution? The people were inspired,motivated,lucky and had somthing they all desired... Freedom. Why is america one of the most powerful countries? Its not because we're smarter or better its because we are a country with many diffrent people who have diffrent backgrounds,thoughts, ideas and from diffrent countries that can and will help this country become stronger. @SuperRamirez1 My response on that part was more rhetorical than a statement of fact.I wanted to convey the usual stereotypes and contrast it with the obvious fact of America's power.It is paradoxical to say the least if all that is true.The last part was simply to say that the way America was depicted here, its history,etc may not be the most accurate of stories or at least leaves out much of the controversies surrounding the history.However, given its purpose and constraints it was still good.

@Ninja1275 Not a better people just better at fighting for what we believe in and winning. We were British but over a long period time morphed into what we now call Americans. This happened because we wanted to cut ties with the crown and had to fight and win to become our own nation and today we remain distant cousins.

The Americans were defeated time and time again despite usually outnumbering the British, and eventually won through timely European intervention. Be proud of your history by all means but come on man, credit where it is due.

@Ninja1275 yeah our forefathers want to rid themselves of their British past by adopting practices that were very non-British such as standard weights and measurments, a federal constitutional government, driving on the right side (horses then cars)etc.., and developing distinct form of english speak and vocabulary - doesn't make us better than you. Like I said we are still distantly related but remain friends - cheers!
