Lovely says to the boy: "Tarunga na lang pagsabat ha?" which is Hiligaynon for "Just answer correctly okay?" to which the Waray boy would interpret in English as something like "Eggplant the singing okay?" ..or when Lovely says: "O sige hampang na" which is Hiligaynon for "Okay go play now" but to the Waray kid it would mean "Okay go talk now". Lawl.

Just wanted to comment on you guys... Ilonggo/Hiligaynon, Cebuano, Waray-Waray, Cuyonon, Boholano, Romblomanon and other Visayas Dialects are all part of the Visayan Islands and all are equally treated as Bisaya! Those who are being dumb think of what you comment first or do some freakin research on us Visayan People... Im an Ilonggo so i am a Bisaya! As long as your part of the Visayas Region and those dialects similar to Visaya are all Bisaya!!!

unsay excuse me? ahaka nimo oy....WHAT ???? bisaya, cebuano & ilongo are different types?...hey you need further research...cebuano, ilonggo are bisayan language or dialects ... please you need further research of your own country ...i agree with HARUKA0040, dialects or languages are both same meaning, idiom as say neutral word for both... so your preferrence,,,but the word dialects mostly used to refer language of particular group, in philippines most often refer to regional speech..

Type2mike dont be confused....Cebuano, Ilonggo are Bisaya...people in Cebu speaks cebuano, people in Negros Occ. and people in Iloilo speaks Ilonggo, or sometimes they call it Hiligaynon in Neg Occ...if you are Cebuano they refer themselves as Bisaya..same thing with Ilonggo they refer themselves as Bisaya..nasabtan na ba nimo? But the funny is when you are pure cebuano you hardly understand Ilonggo same with pure Ilonggo they cant understand the Cebuano speaker..hehehe

Illonggo's inteligibility to Cebuano I believe is very limited but they can understand each other completely with practice,Waray is more intelligible to Illonggo than Cebuano,in the way that Waray can talk to Illonggos....

hiligaynon and ilongo are the same...you use the same dialect..you speak similarly...kung makipag usap kayo sa mga taga Bacolod(Negros Ilonggos) magkaintindihan kayo....please dont confuse everybody

I think Waray has transitional qualities between Cebuano and Bikol Central,I can say the same thing as of the dialects/languages near the border of quezon and bikol and those of Marinduque they are also transitional between Bikol Central and Batangueño.

well, most of the filipinos are multi lingual, but fortunately region, or i may say that from visayas to mindanao can speak tagalog and probably visayan dialect is the common one of both regions can speak with and they understand tagalog but cant deliver well the proper word intonation... hehe,he,he,

they are both,from visayas and they are using VISAYAN dialect that's why bisaya sila, as long they are from region 6,7, and 8, belongs to visayas the boy from Samar,region 6,

Actually the boy is speaking Waray and Lovely is speaking Ilongo. They're two different languages. Visayan is a group of languages. Cebuano is another Visayan language.
