hahaha I love how he's reading off the paper. I assume it's meant as a prop, as opposed to a memory tool. Do people think he actually forgot the chorus every single time?
And yeah... Jay's version is leaps and bounds better than Beck's. And it's funny that Beck introduced him as "Jay from Memphis" as opposed Mr Reatard. Like the mother of a gay child and his "friend".
Jay told me BEck invited him to play the show and didn't mention that he wanted him to play this song on stage, then at the last minute, he sprung it on Jay, then Beck's manager had to print out the lyrics really quick.
This was a last minute idea on Beck's part.

They are two great musicians, indie fags who can't listen to anything that's not approved by millions suck balls.
Reatard is a bore. Half of his stuff is bearable, the other half is just tepid. When Reatard puts out an album of "One Foot In The Grave" or a "Mellow Gold" or "Odelay" proportions, I'll reconsider, but until then, you can have him.
I actually went back into his work with the Reatards and found it waaaay better than the stuff he's doing now. His cover of Bummer Bitch is brilliant. I guess I just need to spend more time with it.
all the people ripping on Jay probably feel bad now

I'm proud of Jay. He's been playing music since '98, and it keeps getting better.
