  • you lied. This motherboard has NO firewire (@0:50)

  • I got the UD3R

  • Where can i find this board in the UK?

  • @PCGamerman37 did you manage to find this board? if not which one did you end up buying?

  • @tawf9494 , i tried buying it on ebay a while back but it had been sold. I now have an Asus Striker ii Extreme which is a better board.

  • Comment removed

  • @PCGamerman37 ok thanks, i ended up buying an Asus board too!

  • EP45-UD3L (rev.1.0)

    1. 4 x 1.8V DDR2 DIMM sockets supporting up to 16 GB of system memory

    2. Dual channel memory architecture

    3. Support for DDR2 1366+*/1066/800/667 MHz memory modules

  • this motherboard support ddr3 ram ???

  • hey i got the same one but my one says ddr 3 1600???

  • he talks so fast holy god

  • i iz a dinosaur and has a 81845gvm-rz motherboard :D

  • Ah shit, no RAID :<

  • and we have a ide plug here and if you are for some reason a dinosaur it's here

  • im makin my pc and have been thinking on buying the EP45-DS3 motherboard is this a good idea??

  • @onmydesktop Yup

  • HeY buddy Nice vedio, Subscribed, Hey could you please suggest me for a good MOBO FROM INTEL WITH E7500CPU FOR GOOD GAMING PERFORMENCE my budget for mobo is $150 and for cpu is$113 and for graphic card is $54 and total is $317.THANKS.

  • hey buddy could you please tell me the most cheaper graphic card with this mobo for crysis.Thanks.Subscribed.

  • good one

  • his mo hawk ftw

  • logan? :(

  • so " if you are a dinossaur " buy this , looool....

  • Which one is dorkier?Ep 45 or Ep 45T UD3LR?

  • can i use ati xfx 5770 for that board??????

  • @2009kitz2009 why not?

  • can use ati xfx 5770 for board???

  • what speed processor you use it ??

  • I have the EP-45-UD3LR

its the same with Raid and i have an Q6600 on it and it runs with 3,7GHz.

  • im actually gonna be upgrading to this from a asus p5n-sli...i actually thought it was amazing with the price i found it for on newegg

  • Is this the same as the EP45-UD3P, but stripped of CrossFire and whatever other features? I hear this is the same board and overclocks just as well - is that true?

  • About to buy this bad boy!

  • I have this motherboard except the UK version, and I was wondering ...... wear do you connect the front panel audio jacks on the case

  • With this sufficiently support a GTX 295? Also, will the lack of RAID support affect the disk transfer rate? I have a 750 Gb HDD. I don't plan on using any internal HDD and I use my external 1 Tb for non program files.

  • nice

yeah i was lookin into those exact same asus' models but will prolly get me a n1ggabyte instead

  • thats my board right there :D

  • @kajusz931 same!

  • @kajusz931

how do u like it? ;o

  • @D081 well i actually have the GA-EP45-UD3LR and i bought it a couple of months back to replace my broken asus p5q-pro. even though the asus had more features (i dont use sli or crossfire anyway), the gigabyte is more stable and lets me overclock my e8200 a bit further.

  • Is this the same as the EP45-UD3P, but stripped of CrossFire and whatever other features? I hear this is the same board and overclocks just as well - is that true?

  • will my pentium 4 3.6 ghz work on this

  • No it wont

  • whooptails..........

  • i have theud3p overclocks like a beast running my q9400 yorkie at 3.3ghz on stock voltage 24/7also runs very cool 19cidel 20c load bord temps but atribute that to the haf932

  • will my geforce 9800 gtx+ fin in this motherboard

  • yes it will

  • Will my Core 2 Quad Q9400 2.66 GHz be compatible with, and work with this motherboard?

  • ye it will

  • It's a LG775 Socket , Core 2 Quad is 775 , so it does comply -_-

  • yes it will

  • i bought this mobo oct 31 only to find out one or two devices on this board is faulty which caused blue screen in my situation.

i exchanged it and we'll see what happens...

  • What the fsb wall overclocking limit on this board ,anyone know?...

  • hey can i put a Intel Xeon X3220 here???

  • I would say you can.

Look on the gigabyte website and look for this motherboard and there should be a list for cpu support

  • I am in delima which one should i buy. gigabite GA-EP45-UD3L or NVIDIA nForce 750i SLI motherboard which is better i heard nvidia ones burn out rue or not i dont know. any opinion would do.

  • if for SLI go 750i

if single GPU go 4 this board.../ main stream

note* this board dont have Raid Support...

4 me go for EVGA 750i FTW

  • EP45-UD3LR is much better

  • Also costs a lot more. Look for this on Newegg. it's 80 bucks.

  • i own an EP45-UD3L with an E8400 E0 stepping. i havent overclocked yet becuase i still use stock cooler.

    nice board.... it automatcally detects my G.Skill Trident 1066 1.8v 8GB .... without any manual overclock @ 533mhz.. :)

i will buy an HD4770 to replace my palit 7300GT sonic

  • I own the UD3LR, which is just this board but with RAID onboard. I got my e8500 C0 to 4.0GHz w/ 422 FSB/ 1.3V VCore with no problem whatsoever!

  • I just got this and it keeps hibernating (shutting down and resuming from where i was). How can i disable this?

  • you have to buy a 500 + watts powersuply

  • can someone enlighten me on something please

if i get a p45 /ddr2 board and put an intel E8600 that has a clock speed of 3.33ghz ,

and after hearing that new gygabyte boards dont run the fsb and ram asynchronous anymore will the original cpu speed actually drop to 2.0 ghz if im running pc2 6400 800 (200mhz) ram with that 3.33ghz cpu? its a bit confusing! thanx

  • no ram will drop

  • this mite be a stupid quest but can you run ddr2 800 memory in that broad

  • Yes.

  • yes of coruse

  • bulk 1 MHZ and 1x steps for the fsb and the multiplier is not a quality tweaker imo these lacks in bioses are actually putting off my purchases of 4 new motherboards its a disappointing pain in the ass

maybe there are third parties that make software that allows ultra fine cpu adjustments

  • A quality precision tweaker bios ought to at least allow allowing precise control over the fist 4 digits of the cpu frequency and the 3 following the 1st decimal point also.the bioses lack cpu very fine increments for fsb and multiplier all it takes is a small bios coding update for the tuners that can allow for example x7.8350 for the multiplier, Cant be that hard to implement in a tiny code update right? =/

  • Something fast and cost less, My PC Upgrade: AMD 550 X2 cpu. $99.99 G.skill 4GB ddr3 1333 $65.00 Gigabyte 790XT UD4P am3 $129.99 XFX ATi 4890 1GB video card $199.99 Corsair 650W psu $99.99 WD 160GB Sata HD $39.00 DVD-Drive $25.00 $658.96 Wake up and smell the coffee.
  • Nice! But add $100 more for your OS... lol

  • Just a minor correction: Those aren't floppy and FireWire headers he pointed to. They're labeled "LPT" and "COMM" on the board, and are headers for old-school parallel and RS-232 serial connectors, respectively. This board does not come with FireWire built in, but of course it will take a FireWire PCI card if you want that functionality.

  • @bicostp It does have a floppy header though

  • Watch out Gigabyte is cheater. DualBios doesn't make what Gigabyte is advertising.

  • will this support gtx 260 core 216 superclocked?

  • Yessss

    it will

  • how about RAID support?

  • Have a look on the website most likely yes

  • NO RAID support >:(

  • can i put a 250GTS in this board??

  • yess

all PCi-E 2.0 graphics cards you idiots

  • T_T sorry

  • will pc6400 memory work on this board

  • yes it will, got almost the exact same mobo, it takes basically every type of ddr2 there is, i think up to 1200 on phenom II

  • what should i get? this motherboard or the asus pq5 pro? which motherboard would i have less problems with?

  • asus p5ql-e way better

  • What is Good? Asus mobo or this Gigabyte mobo? can this run a Core2quad 2.8Ghz. ??

  • having audio problems. at first i was able to hear audio, then next day, audio wasnt present. how to fix it? usuign vista64bit

  • whats the difference between the Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R and the Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3L? L vs R? :p

  • video card slots

  • I bought this board. There are a few issues:

    - It makes noise on full load! There's an audible grinding noise when all 4 cores of my Q6600@3.4 are stressed to the limit. I thought I had a defective board so I exchanged it, but the new board also has this issue! Very disappointed, and now I'm stuck with it.

    - AHCI mode causes boot time to lengthen because it has to detect all SATA devices.

    - Onboard audio still has minor crosstalk, but that's what you get with onboard

    (continued...)

  • - DES does not work properly. This is a low-end model with only 4 power phases instead of 6 like on the EP45-UD3R and up. With DES enabled, onboard audio will start crackling whenever phases switch. It will also mess up any USB webcam streaming because not enough power will be consistently fed to it.

    - There's no (1394) FireWire, and if there is, there's no included bracket.

What's this guy's e-mail so that I can confirm the CPU load noise?

  • Never mind, got his e-mail.

  • do the ud3r

  • kk now i'm really stuck on a choice :( this, p5q-pro or evga 750i ftw?? for 9800gtx, q8200, 4gb pc2-8500 what do you guys recommend?

  • I got the Asus 750i and I am planning on getting a 2nd GTX 260

  • im getting a q9500 when win 7 comes i want the prices to go down or i will find somthing better thats like 300 dollars now and 200 dollars when win 7 comes heck i bet i can keep my pentium win 7 is so awsome

  • NOOO don't film in SD and upscale to HD!

Quality is still so bad Q_Q

  • Dinosaur!

  • k i guess if you want crossfire go with the p5q PRO and if you are going for a single GPU get this

  • I might get this mobo!, i have a E8400 and a 4870 1GB im on a nforce 610i mATX now i just wanna upgrade!

  • p5q pro > this

  • I was deciding between this and the GA-EP45-DS3L.

    I got the DS3L

  • I have this board.

  • which is better? this or the p5q PRO?

  • the ud3p or the p5q-pro. I like the ud3p

  • Albert; 8+4=10 USB ports!

  • I can't get Verizon FIOS in my area of SC, cause Verizon is a shit company, and will not give us anything beyond landlines, and a 1/2 ass cell signal, So i went with my local Cable Co. but i have been reading that a lot of people have been having problems with FIOS, not getting it's true speed. Also not everyone needs an OC'd machine so a basic AMD system just might work well for them :-). As for me a i have a stock 3ghz AMD dual core system with 4GB ram. :-)

  • wow....and in tech update they said Albert was never there no more...LIARS

  • I said good basic system idiot. I never said it would be a powerhouse system, but it can get you by. I also have to agree with Superharry626, and wondering what kind of internet your mother has. cause i still have an ACER 3050 laptop with a 1.8ghz Sempron AMD CPU as a backup machine, and the internet on it is super fast over a wireless G signal and 6mbps cable line. Your mother must be on dialup, ISDN, or super slow DSL.

  • then your mom's internet is probably too slow.. what a moron.. no offense

  • its a 102,20 euros the cheapest here in NL, but prices in holland a quite big

  • lawl im a dinosaur rawr....

    wow that was cheesy

  • can u use this motherboard for a car pc system?

  • GB is some good sh*t! my X38 is a yr half old, still going strong! =P

  • £80 is pretty cheap, but it's not worth buying if you're in the UK.

  • just looked this up...its wicked cheap for this under $130 isnt a bad price at all for this

  • I LOVE ALBERT

  • it works slower as pci 2.0 :) .....(lower data rate) but it is also compatible with pci 2.0 graphics card

  • LOL! "for some reason you are a dinosaur you can.." - best part

  • Epic.

  • No it can't support AM2, cause it's an INTEL POS board. You can build a nice AMD system for about $250. If you have your monitor already of course. Tiger has a barebones Dual core AMD system for $150. throw in a HD, and DVD-RW, and you got a good basic system. :-) better then this thing.

  • AMD sucks ass if you try to go higher than basic-hobo-homeless-dude-old-people-only-sub-$300 computers that can only surf the web. Some of us like to play games on our computers, if you didn't know that. Also just give me ONE motherboard that supports AMD and Intel. Let me save you the trouble: there is none. So basically your point is that all motherboards are shit except for your 50-cent 1-phase power "budget" AMD board?

  • This motherboard is probably better than the most expensive AMD board, so I wouldn't call is a POS just because Intel doesn't support it's rival's chips.

  • No shit asshole, some people do like to play games on there computers, and no there is no board that supports both AMD and INTEL. I however still find INTEL to be over priced and overrated. I also find you to be the typical INTEL/Apple clone junkie that thinks if it does not cost mega bucks it must be shit. Not everthing on this planet has to be that way to be good.

  • LOL! So true!

  • 250 dolars max !! :)

  • 16 GB RAM is more than enough!

  • Good Albert ! you make me buy stuff !

  • wtf.... this video is old? didnt they publish this one a month ago?

  • whoooo!

  • ALbert FTW!

  • albert yeah!
