  • too much money i wish i could take super collectors edition cars down to the drags to thrash

  • @TheHeroSam haha super collectors, this thing wont be worth a pinch of rocking horse shit in 20 years, and not to mention WAAAAAAAAY over priced to start wirth

  • same as my FG xr6 Turbo, got a 12.8 standard!

  • what did it run down the strip mate?

  • @jacobmitchell92 Prob about 12 somethng

  • This car is totally unoriginal. It looks like an r8 and would handle like one too. Australian super car my ass...A supercar doesn't shit its self when it sees a corner. re design it. Low profile body, new suspension, two doors, and supercharge that 7L engine then maybe you can call it a supercar and justify the 150k price tag. Aussie pride all the way! but seriously, this thing isn't anything to be proud of.

  • the only engines that are made in australia for holdens is from the V6 VR onwards

  • @hsvlover88 VR V6's still had the buick 3600's in them - American made. The VS-VY V6 were Ecotec, still somewhat tied in with buick and were put in some of their ricers

  • dumb yank!!!

these engines are hand built by HSV at clayton melbourne victoria AUS!!!!!

you yanks dont know how to make a car that can handle and engine like this either!!!!

your corvettes are plastic fish bowls and your cadilacs are.... well.... shit!!!

PS thanks for the cast block and head....... let the aussies do the rest mate!!!!!!!

  • @Jootlash14 aussie pride but what you saying is a load of shit

  • @nickster1318 heads and block come from the us mate. hsv hand build them. my uncle works there

  • @Jootlash14 what are you talking about a corvette would wax that, in the corners, and on the straight away!

  • @Jootlash14 u honestly think that ur holden has a better interior, not to mention a cts-v is the fastest production sedan EVER! wow you dumb

  • @neerredd The CTS-V shares the same floor pan as the Holden Commodore Idiot! (americans borrowed it from the aussies!)! without that you dumb americans would still be drivin in straight lines :)

  • What would I buy for $150,000 - let's see?? FG F6 with Brembo upgrade, pump, injectors and tune for 11.8's and then a GSXR 1000 and a holiday around the world - or a AMG C63 which runs 4.4's and 12.5's stock and is far greater engineered than a dunnydore - then again maybe a VY clubby - or ten.

  • @keithjackson302

a VY clubby for everyday of the week.

  • nice car, $150,000. not bad. like to see what all you haters would buy for that. You aint gonna get fuck all.

  • americans are fuckin idiots wif there cars, aussie V8s all day mate go race ya civics

  • @Joey6946

hate to burst your bubble, but thats an American power plant under the hood... but yes, the V8 will give me much greater pleasure than Japanese gear.

  • @NiNjAx0NxSp33D japs hve v8's as well

  • @NiNjAx0NxSp33D their not american, well not completely, we tinker with the insides and put our own stuff in it before they go in holdens so their not entirely american

  • @Joey6946

The LS7 is hand-built by the General Motors Performance Build Center in Wixom, Michigan USA where all of the LS7s& LS9s used in Corvettes are built and the the Cadillac LC3 was built...

It's so great when dipshits make themselves look bad while trying to insult people...

  • @DaPepsinator u are a legend mate

  • Why isn't the engine Aussie??

  • Fuckin Awesome factroy made hsv w427 Ls7 G8

  • Hahaha the best Australian car don't make me laugh.

  • fuel consumption in that burnout ? haha

  • cunt if you have the money your not gonna worry about 2 dollars of fuel tosser

  • If I had that money, i'd have gotten the faster Nissan GTR ;)

Or even a new F6 for $70k and spent 30K in mods, then throw the last $20k in my pocket!

  • Why would you post a benign comment like that. Go look at Nissan's or Ford's instead. Pathetic.

  • My comment was relevent to Thyrn's post.

He asks why worry about $2 in fuel with a $150k car.

And I said why worry about getting a $150K car, thats much slower and looks worse than a $120K car.

I personally cannot see any viable reason to buy a W427, unless you are going to get it shrink wrapped, and wait 15 years to sell.

A car is there to be driven, whats the point of buying a car like this, thats best left un-driven.

  • The most expensive car to sell recently was Ferrari 250 GTO. They were used for racing in the 60's and now fetch 20 to 25m US for an original 'non-mothballed example. 959's command a lot of money driven or not in Europe; it's about exclusivity not some mass produced Japanese piece of crap with mods. Here's the thing: the tragedy of the working class is measured by the poverty of their desire.

  • Yeah, but buying a car for $25m for eg. (Which is simply put, a none-driver investment) Is different than buying a Limited Edition W427 for $150K and trying to make it go as hard as the pricetag demands.

If he wants to go fast, he could have spent his money better.

If he wanted to store the car, going to the drags wong help its investment potential. Thats all I ment.

  • *sigh*

It's not ALL about the performance mate.

It's about owning a very very special car that there are fuck all of on the road.

any car with enough money pumped into it is quick, but not every high HP car is a limited edition.

  • "It's about owning a very very special car that there are fuck all of on the road."

Ok, but the W427 looks like all the other HSVs on the road. Most common people wouldn't understant the significants unless they where told, or could see the very few tell tale signs.

At the end of the day, the W427 is not powerful enough for its price tag, and its not origional enough to suggest its worth anywhere near the amount they ask for it.

  • I couldn't agree more Playtechy. I feel Holden have drawn at straws again to stay ahead of Ford.

It started with the re-introduction of the Monaro. THAT could've been special but no. Holden produced like a gazillion of 'em.

If they had made like 300 (numbered) 250kw V8 's, with a 100k price tag, THEN it would've had some exclusivety. The W427 is just not that special.

By the way. I'm partial to both Ford AND Holden after coming out of owning a XR6T for 5 years. Fk I miss that power.

  • how much in US dollars is this car?

  • tuff

  • gay

  • for gay litle cunts like yourself.

  • That is not a muscle car homo

  • Your obviously a dumb cunt

  • And you are obviously a spastic redneck that thinks that the holden is the best car out

  • The best Australian made car yeh. You must have some special fucking powers to tell who is a red neck by this youtube. Finding out who is as smart a a retard like yourself isnt as hard though....

  • @jesusmouth If they died in the late 70's how could this one be made (and sold)? Your comment makes no sense.

  • its a big block of waste of money, id rather an M3.....

  • id like both, big V8 muscle, M3/M5/M6 and a R34 or even a MA61 or AE86. best of all worlds

  • I like the AE86 but if you get one, you would have to live with humiliation of having a toyota. I couldnt live with that. I also like the old supra's but the 90's ones are ugly as balls

  • na man rs4

  • Dont get me wrong i do love M3's and am a BMW fan, but I think the W427 is a smart use of money as the car will only increase in value like most true aussie muscle cars, whereas the M3 will depreciate. The M3 might be a better car but the W427 could earn you a lot of money.

  • yes, it COULD earn you a lot of money. That's if someone that stupid will spend ridiculous amounts of money on a commodore. I don't know about other people, but i couldn't justify spending 500K+ (40-50 years down the track) on an aussy car. Again, i'd buy something better like a murcielago lol.

  • buying an aussie muscles car is rarely stupid. I was going to get a valiant r/t charger for $25,000 but i didnt, and now it cost well over $100,000. So i dont think making huge amounts of money off a car is stupid. And again i like bmw's i have a 318 in my driveway. But aussie muscle mean a lot more to aussies than german ones.

  • Yeah and if you pop the bonnet you'll see that your 3 series is built in South Africa. ROFL. So it's not even a German car. Couldn't afford a six cyl? At least the six 3 series is built in Germany. Now that is sad because your just another badge sucking yuppie who paid for a fraud and is happy about it. Your the one that looks stupid.

  • plenty of people shell out 700k+ for the GTHO Phase 3 a car builds up prestige and you will see people paying that sort of money, especially considering the low build volume of the W427 and the stock power output.

  • 'coz ur not a car enthusiast or car collector, (and u r probably poor C@#$T)thats rich people hoby! thats y THEY can justify spending all that money.

  • its a big block of auzzie pride

  • Its an American engine, but they would have never thought to put it in a Sports Sedan! Thank you Australia!

  • good to see one getting used properly... not stowed away in some plastic bag for the next few decades

  • that things a beast !

  • Black looks mean as man. Nice ride.

  • thats wicked as like straight away i wish my commo did that

  • I wouldnt do that if i had a car like that, lol. I'd drive 5,000klms then store it.

  • thats gotta have sum grunt to be able to do that

  • course its got grunt, 7.oL big block chev!

  • its not a big block its a small block bored out to 7.0litres.

  • Its a small block Bored & stroked in a sense.

A lot of titanium gear + a dry sump

  • thats a sweet weapon

  • No its not,its a "street" weapon haha.

  • nice
