First time I saw this ad I'm not ashamed to admit that it brought a lump to my throat. A superb advert that was more entertaining than the programme it divided up.
As a fan of all things mechanical plus songs from old school singers this was freakin' epic.

Amazing job on this commercial. It really was filmed beautifully and when I first saw it, the amazing footage of the 2RC143 sent shivers down my spine.

The racebike you see in this video is the 1961 2RC143, who has a 125cc (124.68cc) 4-stroke, 2-cylinder engine with 4-valves and double DOHC heads with 6-speed gearbox.
Top speed over 180Km/h and 23PS at 14,000rpm.
I have the deepest respect and admiration to Soichiro Honda and his passion to improve things, to make things better, to make them faster and to chase his dreams like this!...
He is my absolute roll model and this is the way I want to live and work...
