Well, I can think of several pairs of reasons ;) But in all seriousness, I agree that all the PPVs are the same, every week is monotonous and it's just not entertaining anymore. Every once in a while, you'll hear of a great match, like Morrison vs Mysterio on Smackdown a while ago. But I'd rather look those matches up on my own when I hear about them and not waste time sitting through the same old BS week after week.

And Eric I respectfully disagree with what you said about how Kimbo should have boxed instead of going into MMA. At best Kimbo would have beaten some club fighters and then gotten manhandled by a skilled fighter. At least in MMA, to a large degree, he can stand and strike with guys who are normally unpolished with how they throw. I guess wither way the end result is the same, he beats a few tomato cans and then gets owned by anyone who is respectable. Good show as always guys.

I think UFC more often than not fail to live up to the hype, at least for me. I respect MMA fighters as athletes, I mean these guys are willing to get punched in the face and submitted for crying out loud. Sadly though, I never view UFC as something that I am willing to buy. Shogun earned that victory and finally fought like we know he can. Machida has now been figured out and I think he weill fall in his next fight. I am tired of buying ppvs that have one good fight.

I love your show guys, its been too long. but i guess sometimes you run short on topics. I think the main reason for the horrible decision at UFC 104 is more down to the stupid "10 Point" System than judges not knowing how to do their jobs.

2 of the 3 judges gave Machida rounds 1, 2 and 3, which isn't out of the bounds of reality. Sure, they were close but an argument could be made that Machida won them.

Shogun clearly won rounds 4 and 5 but lost on points because of the stupid system

I think UFC should do what PRIDE did and have the judges judge a victor based on the WHOLE fight

It did seem like WWE was trying to bring some credibility back to the I-C title (despite still having that ugly Attitude Era title belt) with the quality of Jericho/Mysterio and Mysterio/Morrison...havng the I-C title on Smackdown, which is clearly the better show from a wrestling standpoint, also helps....they just need to get the prestige back to the title--and they desperately need some new blood in the title picture

I feel very strongly that Lyoto won deservingly he defending the majority of Rua's strikes he also backed Rua up several times and leg kicks ans a few body shots doesn't win a fight like it or not Lyoto is the best fighter in the ufc not my favorite but the best he is fighter that comes around once in a lifetime and its going to that a rough quick fighter to beat him i.e. Belfort

First off great video as always, I like the MMA talk. Apparently I'm not the only one who thought Kimbo should have went into boxing instead of MMA. The only thing is that with brock beating big names, here's the thing: The fight against Herring, that one punch lesnar threw dictated the whole fight. And the fight with Randy; Randy Couture was 45 when they fought and even though he got back up, age does show. But anyways I'm psyched for Lesnar/Carwin. There will be fireworks I will assure you :).

I was so pissed when Shogun got screwed. I think that MMA judges need to be retrained to look at leg kicks as serious strikes.

These ex-boxing judges are so used to looking at punches and head kicks as scores that they don't realize how damaging that they can be.

I do agree that Shogun got screwed, but leg kicks should not be counted as high scoring as head kicks. Leg kicks sets your opponent up by killing their mobility but you still have to go in for the kill.

You're right. They shouldn't count as much as a head kick; but judging from this fight, you can't tell if they even count at all.

I would have even been a little happier if it had been a split decision. That would have shown that at least one judge thought that Shogun's offense was potent. But a unanimous decision is sort of insulting to what Shogun actually accomplished.

When it comes to TUF,this season has been great,there has been some great fights and the fighters are talented in there own right,especially this week,best fight of the season,they hyped up kimbo too much and i dont think he should be signed simply because hes only famous trough youtube,its bullshit,Dana just wants him for ratings,even though his fight was terrible.
