I ve been humming this piece for over 50 years and this is the first time Ive heard it since I played in the regional band concert in North Carolina. Had nightmares about my part before concert. Never forgot it. Love it
I heard this played at a concert my high school orchestra played back in the later (possibly post-graduation) years...and, being a Morris dancer, myself, I've been driven batty trying to figure out what the Morris tune actually -was-. Great song, 'course, regardless.
