  • this ia an EFAD driving training vehicle....no crew in the rear and the instructor in the high visibility coat in the front

  • thats not really haulin ass

  • i dont call that fast..but here in bradford the drive even slower..hopeing it might burn down

  • SLOWW!!!

  • Not quite haulin' there if I must say. I could have probably caught up to the truck riding my bike and still catch the back of it =P

  • Thats not ireland, the number plates arnt irish! theres a black car at the roundabout infront of the silver transit with yellow rear plates and can make out that the truck has the new style uk plate! (ie AB10 ABC)

  • At least this sound makes you want to get out of the way!

  • @HardDriveGuru what because it sounds like a tank? i know i defo would! lol

  • @slymills LOL

I don't know what a tank sounds like, really, so I'll take your word for it. xD

  • No its not! Its a pump operated by Co durham and darlington FRS based at Darlington (my home town) This is taken at the end of yarm road at the enterence to the retail park. NOT IRELAND!!!!!

  • we was walking towards the brick steam train at the time

  • @63gtx2 Also The End of Mcmullen road.. Newb.

  • @63gtx2 (Not you)

  • @63gtx2 its Darlington not bloody Ireland I know I was holding the camera lol

  • @63gtx2 i can agree that this is in darlington..

  • this is in ireland

  • im jus glad they use the normal siren and not the old one they used to use in England.....reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer reeeeeeeeeer lol

  • no, they still do - but they keep changing it as they drive - no idea why - i guess idd get bored with the same dull tone too!!!

  • You know I have to say when they change the siren it did make me look more in my mirrors when driving (yes I know ) and it keeps you on your toes.

  • It makes it more obvious where the source is coming from and grabs peoples attention as they have the tendency to filter out sirens as background noise otherwise.

  • The appliance is an EFAD vehicle, there are no ladders and there is no crew in the rear.

  • Hauling ass? More like dragging ass! Oh dear, it appears nanny has gotten out of the senior's home and is driving to the supermarket. Should be just in time to save the basement at that speed.

  • he better slow down..he could hurt someone...ahhaha

  • whoo he better slow down

  • Hey it had a real siren!

  • @DTMRM8 What are you comparing it to?

  • Here I would have used Hi-Lo rather than annoying Yelp.

Most often I use Manual - it sounds Wail when you press a button or foot switch. Then Wail (continuous Wail sound) if we encounter traffic.

Yelp only if the other sonds are not effective.

Electronic air horn is worthless and rude.

  • Doppler effect

Long wavelengths of the Wail tone make it travels farther, shorter wave lengths of Yelp get more attention (thus annoying) but will not travel as far.

HI/lo over here isnt used much and many sirens do not even have it any more.

  • The British don't call it fire department, they call it fire brigade.

  • actually it's a fire and rescue service now lol

  • Actually, most call it a Fire Service, or a Fire & Rescue Service.

    Great vid Hopper!

  • @CDPDPatrolUnit actually is Fire and Rescue Service

  • @CDPDPatrolUnit The British dont call it Fire Brigade, they cal it Fire and Rescue Service.

  • What does hauling ass mean? It cant be an English term.

  • americans always use it... means speeding or flying in the truck or something

  • This was taken in Darlington, on Yarm road near Cummins. The mighty DDFRA!

  • yes we was off to look for the brick train

  • Did you find the train? Its not far from there.

  • yeah we did cheers, behind the supermarket.

  • I could do with a siren on my car to get through traffic jams, now that would be cool

and yea you got your first comment
