Accordion music is downright amazing. Doesn't matter the genre.

I believe that's why the accordion gets such a bad rep, "I have Stradella basses so I always play basses........."

I think it really depends on the situation, I'd like to see more free bass playing myself. I wish more accordion players would try to be more sensitive in the use of the left hand. Just my 2c

Funny, accordion players have given up using their bases.  120 buttons gone to waste. Gee, why not just use an organ of you are not going to play the entire instrument.
