Do you now that you pick up the longer way to Portland island? You turned right on first street but you have to go down this street wnen the telephone is then turn right and turn right on the next street. Then you see tunel to portland island.

The worst game ever. It was such a fail, and the jamaican accents were shocking - so were the graphics! 3D graphics weren't advanced enough at the time to bring out such a big game such as GTA, they should of kept it 2D, way too early for 3D...

It was the first 'mainstream' game to mix generes and be acceped by the public and critics alike. Sure today, it's old news, but it laid the groundwork for many games to come.

Remember, just a year before this game came out, the Nintendo 64 and Playstation (1) had 'cutting edge' graphics, and you call this bad?

I'm doing a course at college about video game development, and this was an example used on a lectuer - if you have a game you want to create but the graphics present aren't good enough to support it, then don't make it. They should of waited another year or so for graphics to enhance before creating it, and it would lay down groundwork for many games to come, like you said.
