@DionMarinos go on battleclinic and look at mike712's cheap mission running tengu, its cap stable and can fit 6 launchers and 4 BCS's

Shouldn't you be using explosive since they're Angel? Unless the 25% kinetic bonus overpowers it in which case I'm an idiot.

Also, what shield booster are you using? I'm planning on getting a Tengu with a Pithum A-Type medium shield booster and if this is all I can expect there's a problem.

@SamShenkai i usually run missions in a tengu (till golem skills are done ofc) i usually use kinetic its roughly the same, if not slightly higher in dmg. as for the booster im only using a meta4 inthe missions u dont really need it to tank just to buff every so often.. longs u know what u are doing in the missions they are rollface tbh. officer loot isnt required tbh, 90% of my equipment is just t2

actually a t3 cruiser has much higher potential to clear missions faster than battleship hulls (including marauders and pirate faction) because only a t3 is able to completely ignore groups of enemies or set off every trigger and aggro a whole room without a second thought. blitzing potential +1

the Tengu is such an amazing ship. I like that you can fit it with subsystems to do whatever you want. Want drones? No problem! Want 6 HML's? No problem! Cloak? No problem! I have been fooling around with different fittings. Currently I run 800+ m/s with RFAB on (cap stable). With a 90+km effective range of my Scourge Fury heavies I can solo L4 missions from my -9 quality agent. Ive tried a higher quality agent, but i cant solo those. Love the Tengu.

The Tengu is a BEAST for lvl 4 missions. It's not suitable for EVERY mission but I've found it to be extremely efficient in 60% of the time.

With heavy assault missiles it can dish out close to 800 dps and and sure it's not a nano ship but with 650 m/s with afterburner and focus from the pilot, there is not a second that you are not within range of an npc.

u flying around with nonstop-AB.. orbiting useless things...focusing on frigs u could tank still end of all spawns

when i fly a AE i stand at gate with a stable SB and shoot first all BS who spawns outa hell and tank all other till the end of all spawns... then switch to t1 missiles and blow BC, Des, and frigs outa hell -.-

Fitting: 6 T2 HM's, omni-shieldtankres, maybe a webber for downing frigs faster... thats it..

HAMs are short range and have a huge explosion radius so its hard to hit frigs and drones wont help without a drone bay lol. I use T2 Heavy Missiles for lvl 4 missions as they still do more than enough DPS to kill BS in short time and can hit frigs no problem. I see you are taking alot of damage in this video more than you should be, I use 1 Pith B type small (only 150M Isk) 3 Hardners 1 Amp and 4 BCUs. I get around 700dps and 1000 tank kinetic and enough left over for a AB.

@Razputin53 its worth the price if you are doing missions with it. I used to use a faction fit CNR untill i got my Tengu. Now I fly nothing else. My total cost was around 600M (Inc Subsystems and Pith B Type small) which is half what my raven cost. I can do AE including the bonus room in 1 and half hours. Never once had to warp out of a mission just use the AB to get out of range if you spawn too much by mistake.

HAMs can be more fun. Depends how you plan on making isk. If you want to max isk/hour than just go with a CNR or Torp Golem.

About the current tengu fit I would almost always go with the drone fit. Yes you loose a bit of dps since you are not always using the drones but it takes far less time to get the pesky frigs down, time that can be spent attacking the battleships and battlecruisers.

Just my 2 cents.

lol I do lvl4 missions in a tengu, my shields NEVER dropped that low!! did almost every mission countless times!

Tank: 2x CN Invul+1x CN EM Hardener, Pithum A-Type Booster + 1x CN Boost Amp

Capstable, able to do class3-4 sleeper sites alone... Tengu = pure PWNAGE! I usually don't even change the hardeners to mission specific ones!

You're a bit over tanked for those missions, a golem can get by with less tank then that and it takes more hits. Dont really know what else you would want to put on but target painters since you have no drones, speed stuff up a lot. Im running anoms on a legion and with the massive bs spawns of a haven or sanctum I hardly need to tank I have unless I fly stupidly and approach directly. 2 hardners a ts medium rep and an eanm that Ill replace. But for whs you've got a fine tank :p

True, the fitting was made for wormholes ^^ I got one t2 painter fitted but only use it on those sucker elitefrigates :D Scourge Fury HMs vs Guristas = overkill as well as overtanked! I love my tengu more than any other ship :D

I just don't get to use it inside WH sites since our alliance recently went to 0.0 and were still pretty busy w/ securing our pocket and keeping our systems blue :D

Yeah, I have to agree with Palle here. That is not only one of the worst mission fits I've ever seen for a Tengu, but if you can't even run a MEDIUM shield booster perm, your skills must be absolutely horrible.

Please go back to a Caracal or a ship more in line with your experience with Eve. In second thought - go back to an Ibis.

if youre running missions for your income you will most likely end up having 1: a lootalt in orca or loot battleship 2: do your missions with either Paladin or Golem (Marauders).

Procedure is simple, warp in, kill everything and tractor it all together to a small loot bubble, go in w/ alt, start looting/salvaging and take Marauder back to station.

Why do you say the heavy missiles are better than HAM?

HAMs can increase your DPS, But iirc HAM range is only about 20~22km, so if you choose HAMs to fit your tengu, then you have to approach to one enemy and shoot, and move to another and shoot, and move, move, move... Tengu is not a nano ship so it actually takes longer than HMs-fitted tengu.

@katselphrime That is true. But I've run a HAM Tengu for lvl 4 for some time now and range has never been an issue.

With a speed of 650m/s with an afterburner and the pilots attention, there should not be 1 second that goes by without missiles coming out of the ship.

With good co-ordination, you should always have a ship within range, which is always the case for me. :)

Some people say, that you have to "do too much" with HAMs.... well why do you play if you dont want to PLAY I ask?
