I hate to say it, but being a user of all this tech, it doesn't work anywhere close to how it does in the video, or at least not if you are Canadian.

Things it bypasses - Uploading video is a multi-step process as you have to take the video with your phone, sync with Zune, copy the file to sky drive, authenticate the other user on skydrive, then they download it. Not as simple as they show here.

@Disinf3ctant Anyone who has a live messenger account and a webcam can chat with someone that has a Kinect. I've used kinect to chat with people who are just sitting at their computers using windows Live messenger. So your friends wouldn't need to have a kinect in order to webcam with them.

@ironmadion55 No kidding, look at Microsoft five years ago, and compare them to today. Wow they've changed. It's actually worth using the entire Microsoft suite now. I'm using Bing, Live Messenger, Windows 7, Hotmail, XBox, Zune, and am desperately wanting the Windows Phone 7. They actually give a ton of advantages if you have any two of them.

I like how this ad demonstrates the different pieces of tech available that runs Microsoft Software and Operating Systems, at least Microsoft is grown up enough to support other companies and connect with them, distributing Microsoft software on so many devices from all kinds of businesses unlike Apple who have to make everything, which means there is less compatibility and the specifications on Apple technology, it is all so outdated & apple slander Microsoft in ads, how bloody childish!
