Great German musik ! I would like to know, from what year this recording is ? My Dad played ( solo bassoon ) with Karl Boehm and Thomas Brandis , Berlin 1934- 48 and was befriendet with K. Boehm. Later in Hamburg. Thomas Brandis and my dad Fritz Henker made many recordings together, with the German Bach Orchester. I still believe, there are one of the best musiciens today !
