After watching this video I have to agree with him, I have always been taught to catch fly balls with two hands but for me one hand has always been more fluid, you also more flexible and if you have any lick of talent the ball will stay in your glove, i dont get why so many coaches advocate two hands

honestly. im not hating on the dude. but teaching kids 2 take an extra step when they throw the ball in is horrible. Outfielders have to get the ball in quick. using one hand 2 catch the ball is only recommended if u could make up the timing with a great arm. its all about timing.

Where did this guy come from? I can understand the mitt because it may be all that's available. Getting under a ball? One or two hands doesn't matter? I like outfielders that get under the ball instead of behind the ball moving forward, because I know if I tag I have a great shot. Also, two hand on the ball, like the catching position, with the throwing hand near the glove makes for a quick transition to throwing his butt out.
