I'll also point out that Michael Reaves who wrote the screenplays for Gargoyles wrote stories for Batman TAS! It shocks me how so many people say," Make a live action or CGI version of this cartoon!' Believe it or not there are people who enjoy drawing animation by hand! For proof come to my channel page on you tube and watch my hand drawn animated videos I made, THE BLACK WIDOW, THE MAGIC ARROWS, BALDER'S EGG etc.! They have thousands of drawings along with narration, dialog and fantasy beasts!

For me Gargoyles was the only good show on the other wise dismal Disney afternoon! The other Disney cartoon shows that included Alladin were crap. If it wasn't for the success of Batman TAS Disney would not have given the show a chance and most of the credit for Gargoyles should go to Frank Paur who was producer of episodes of Gargoyles and directed Batman TAS episodes! I still enjoy this series on my vhs tape recordings!

I miss the 90s and early 00s, ya know when the best cartoons aired Saturday mornings on the local channels. Now, you get reruns of only FOUR different shows that were "old" five years ago. Now the best (relative terms) cartoons are on cable or satellite and you 'might' get lucky and find a decent show if you were to switch to cartoons at any given time. Put simply, cartoons today are 90% crap.
