Great cover Beach Boys! :D I'm a massive Beatles fan, but also love The Beach Boys (I'm trying to get more into them actually), and this definitely gets my approval, wish it was the full song.
@StokerOne775 it is easier for the beach boys to sound like the beatles than vice versa because the beach boys harmonies are more complicated and the beatles dont know how to handle a surfboard
@OropherThranduil its not true that mike sues for fun fun fun and money he doesnt deserve he sued brian for 36 songs that he specified that he co wrote with brian when brian recieved a money settlement from herb alberts publishing company because his father sold his publishing for low money what differance does it make how many times he surfed he surfed more than me and im one of the best surfers in new jersey .
Thanks for the info. My highschool friends who had the "Party" LP just played "Barbara Ann" over and over and over. Would have been nice to have heard this incredible Beatles cover back in the day.
Yes; they did a few Beatle songs on that LP I believe Brian was working on the Pet Sounds epic at the same time and this was a quickie to apease their contract with Capitol records.
In fact, the Beach Boys and the Beatles were signed to the exact same label.

No, Mike never was a big surfer, just did it from time to time.
Though the Beach Boys were named for, and developed, an image based on the California surfing culture, Dennis was the only real surfer in the band.

MIke sues his old bandcolleagues for fun and for things he doesn't deserve, like the beach boys name and so on.
and hell, dennis went surfing whenever he found time, mike did it as rarely as the average person does such hobbys.
He was the srufer in the band, he knew the slang and so on.
