I have a plan to build this but do away with the patch leads and replace all that with my own custom signal path patch bay using just three slide switches giving 16 different routing combinations.
@Thalassa77 It would be hard with an ancient thick-tipped soldering iron ( as thick as an eighth inch headphone jack covered in old solder chunks), 1/16th inch solder and a mistakenly ordered SOIC CD40106 (smaller than my pinky nail.). Or at least for my wsg,

@xesionprince 4 of-off slider switches would give 120 combinations! I guess the best way to implement would be CMOS switches and address decoders.
