It's interesting how people think that this movie (and Shyamalan movies in general) sucks, that it's crap and awful, with no whatsoever explanation behind those lousy statements. If you're going to tell people that you didn't like it, at least bother to explain why. It's not M. Night's fault it wasn't your cup of tea ^^
I thought Lady in the Water was a very good (and very underrated) film from writer/director, M. Night Shyamalan. I think I know why people hated this movie so much, is that because they found it to be preposterous and dull.
In my opinion, I really liked the premise, the main actors' performances, and the excellent music by James Newton Howard.
love this film. One of his most surprising works. The happening and The avatar thing sucked BAD. . . and so did unbreakable. The Village, Lady in the Water, and Signs are the best.
And yeh i watched this movie i was kind of scared i mean liek i went to bed and i kept getting a feeling one of those grass wolf things were walking around to my side of the bed and would eat me >:O ANYWAY! I loved this movie haha, how they all tiped in to protect her and they all had their roles, it was awesome and i laughed when (spoiler) the movie predicter guy got killed XD "i am going to turn around and run." "turns around" "LEAPS ON HIM!" LOL!
this trailer is misleading, this movie doesnt even try to be scary. i guess the producers figured the movie wouldent get enough attention unless they made a trailer that appealed to a broad audience.

The shittest and most annoying movie ever... They are just vomiting the words for an hour then the strange characters fight the wolves and the story ends... The great fantasy movie has one fantasy scene in the last 15 minutes..
at first i thought that this was a horror movie because the trailer was freaky but this movie was just odd just like the village it started out scary turned out to be some weird story
