@SuperStig23 Like I mentioned above in the info space, I don't play drums that long, so it isn't tight at all. It's just a test. Thanks for your comment :)
@Vernhicular: thanks mate. Much appreciated. I'm going to upload more stuff soon. I'm using the fantastic Studio Drummer by Native Instruments almost exclusively now. The sound is amazing. More to come soon.
Thanks mate! It's been a while since this recording, so I would have done things differently looking back. But hey, it's just an idea and an overview of BFD drums and the guitar products from Amplitube 3. Thanks for your reaction!
Hi, thanks for watching! I've used the Mac application ScreenFlow for recording the screencast and the same application for synchronising the audio for Logic.
Thanks, I will look into that! Have you tried to listen to the song with headphones? This will dramatically improve the low-end sound. Anyhow, it's just an idea for now, which later will be used in a new song. Thanks for your comment though!
Thanks! You can get it at esoundz.com. It really is a fantastic package with lots of different sounds; 8 toms, 2 kick drums, 2 snare drums and lots of splashes, china's and cymbals.
Keep me informed on how you go using the internal drive on heavier projects, 'cause if you're having success with this, I might think about running all my samples off the internal drive.
That.'s surprising 'cause most people would frown at running hard-drive hungry plugins and audio tracks off the internal drive. Have you used it for heavier projects?
Not yet, but everything I throw at this monster works like a charm, so don't expect problems when recording stuff. I often use more instances of multiple plug-ins and aaplications, but never experienced any lag or strange behaviour. However, I am going to buy an external hard disk, but this is purely for practical reasons and so that my internal hard drive doesn't use up all space for these particular applications alone!
The audio interface used is a PreSonus Firebox, which is a great card with no apparent latency. The hard drive used is the native one that comes with the iMac. So, in this case it's a 1TB 7200rpm hard disk. For further info, take a look at the specifications mentioned above (below the movie).
hi, best quality!! i have a question? can you send me a bfd2 preset midi for TD-9 module? i have many difficult to mapping all key.

Sounds great but the tempo/timing of the intruments & drum track are a little off.
Try a click track maybe ?

A great idea, with a great, inspiring sound.

Fuck yeah! Bonus points for the Agile Intrepid. Neil Peart sample library?? Why don't I own that? Nice track!

Hey have you guys tried chocking the cymbals? We can't get the chocking to work even when we load the BFD map into our TD20's.

What software did you use to record the videos and how did you sync them to logic ?

Great sound, though as a bit of constructive criticism, the bass could be turned up a bit for a fuller sound.

You're very talented - great song/recording & lovin' the BFD2 NP Kit - sounds great!
I just got the NP BFD2 kit as well as the Infinite Player version. Have been trying to compare the two.
Keep up the great work!

I'm looking at the possibility of getting an iMac 27-inch myself. What's your setup, eg. audio interface, hard drive setup, etc.?

Heya Goldilox, cool video! This perfectly illustrates how easy it can be to record great quality music in your own home studio.
Nice bass guitar by the way ;-)
