Bolt could have said he wanted to watch the vid, they would have seen blake moved, but since it wasn't registered in the sensors they wouldn't have needed to disqualify anyone. But Bolt thought himself that it was all his fault and then no one would go against it, almost too nice by Bolt in a way though since Dwain Chambers got disqualified eariler by the same kind of almost not notisable move like Yohan had. I'm pretty sure that they would have disqualified more people if they were caught flinching before the gun. That's why there were a lot of controversy about this race along with Jon Drummond getting disqualifed at the 2003 World Championships along with some other athlete in that race. They both twitched their back foot when you saw the replay.

I watched it carefully several times and my theory is that Blake flinched because he noticed Bolt lowering his hips. Please, notice that Bolt moves his body, lowers hips before Blake flinches. Definitely, there is no 0.1 s between Blake's flinch and Bolt movement. I would say that Bolt was first lowering his hips.

He's a profesional athlete. He's trained to start when he hears a sound, not when he sees movement. It would be unreasonable to ask every runner not to move a muscle when their adrenaline is pumping in anticipation of the gun. It was his own fault.
