brandon9271 just a quick heads up I had the hbk2 and also upgraded with that 30.00 dollar head and tail It is not worth it It is realy poor quality and doesnt hold up well I would also suggest that instead of upgrading the hb you buy a 450 you will enjoy it a ton more you can get a trex v2 knock off for around 169.00 with motor and esk and it comes full cnc It is worth the wait flywell helibrit
Hi! Sure you're right! I spend the same amount of money which I had to give away for a good T-rex 450 Kit with all additional equipment you need. My HBK2 upgrade was just a kind of study what can be done. And certainly a good chance to improve my abilities in rc-model work...! Cheers!
So, let me see: I am using the Esky 3900 U/V brushless outrunner EK5-0005 with the K5-0081 Controller. With 11teeth it has enough power to serve my grown up Honey Bee. I running a head speed between 2100 and 2600 depending on the gas curve I use. Remember I use the 325 mm blades because of the longer tail. Normaly the King is in my opinion a 400 heli - I tink the 300 helis have only up to 50cm rotor diameter....! But it improved flying when being pimped up to a 450 size heli...! Chears!
Hi! I am sorry, I have never heard about such a kit. I think the King V1 frame is much different to the King V2 ones. But if you like a suggestion: Do not buy a new King V2 or V3 - If you really like that rc-flying, than get yourself at minimum a full 450 model...!!! It is much better to handle!
I can get a King 2 frame for 6.00 USD.. I crashed my King1 so I need new blades. I want fiber blades and CNC head and tail. I found them for about $30. I'm on a tight budget so I really just want to get my HBK flying as smoothly as possible. What kind of motor you have? I have EK5-0005 Brushless and ESC. I don't know much about RC.. is the King a 300 heli? what gyro do you use?
