this video was done around the time Duran Duran was working on Notorious, hence john taylor's cameo. let's also not forget, from that album to parts of Medazzaland...the core members were nick, simon and john (john left while recording medazzaland and only appears on 4 tracks). personally, i would've liked to have seen where this side project could've gone. seemed to have more substance, musically

"So Red The Rose" was an album so rich in sounds that remind you of instruments from South America and Spain, and 'The Flame' is just proof of that. It's a pleasure to listen to this song on an Ipod. Minute 2:30 John Taylor with a contract at hand, back when he was 'Power Station', funny and Simon even with those glasses looks CUTE

Duran Duran (JT, Nick and Simon) were actually working on Notorious at the time when this video was made. I believe andy added some guitar work...but wasn't really a full member at that point. roger had basically shut himself out of the business altogether. i'm guessing he's gotten over it now or needs the money (or both...heh)
