How to make Armstrong's Mix at home

DO NOT make the Armstrong mix - even trained pyrotechnicians avoid this stuff because its too unstable and very unpreductable not too mention powerful. For your own safety and that of others arround you do not even try too make this mix!

True but it is a cheaper alternative and with some flash powder mixed in, it will act the same a pure armstrong mix.

That's not armstrongs mix, that's powdered crap from matches. You have the elements for armstrongs mix there, but at i'd say less than 25% purity. You need to get the powdered glass out of the striker dust, and the binder and filler out of the matches. That much armstrong's mix would go BANG if it was pure.

PS: if you really wana get rid of the binder in the matches you can just dissolve the heads in boiling water and then run them thru filter paper but then it'll be KCLO3 which is REALLLYYYY reactive so yer be careful with that shit

dont now how to say in english but its just zwavel from mines underground. its a mix of coal and zwafel on those maches. zwavel is duch.just type on google for the english word.

i probobly shouldent say this but its 60-40 ratio chlorate phosphorus and be extremely carefull mixing and for scrapeing off phosphorus use a knife and hold it flat and scrape it off
