If it were me I wouldnt put a white belt in a tounamemt, id put him in one when hes a yellow or blue belt, then again their only small kids and couldnt do much damage to each other :)
The only thing about kids that age is that although they can do the moves in practice, put them in a tournement and its just kids hitting each other. It's great experience for them though and it'll boost their confidence no end, setting them up for later in life.
I love karate, kyokushin and full contact. But I have never been able to appreciate children hitting each other in competition. Their bodies are not yet developed to handle even the weak blows that their opponents are able to throw. I always considered it best to leave it to adults.

What damage are they doing? I know lots of people at my dojo who'v been doing kyokushin since they were kids, no ill-effects.
