How do I make dynamic markings? Everytime I try to add expression text, it just pops up as a text box :/

iunno if this make this sense (im a beginner) , but uh. how do you make it so two separate parts of measure have different tempo?

That never happens in real music, if you want to change the duration of the notes, just change the actuall note :D you wouldn't want a conductor have to show two tempo's at once!
