  • the dude with the tamborine looks like allan burglands luv child

  • I love that the Turtles all wear "Turtle"necks

  • These guys always had HAPPY songs!! I always liked this one, but NOBODY played it!!

  • I love the 'Toit-les'! :)

  • Johny Barbata is also still active and has a band of his own in Oklahoma.

Chip Douglas lives and works in Hawaii today.

  • I have three veterans of The Turtles

in my Facebook contacts and it's a treat to share music with these guys:

Howard Kaylan, Johny Barbata, and Chip Douglas. :)

Chip is still active in his field of music arrangement today

and has been since he performed with The Turtles...

And if I'm not mistaken, I think both Chip and Johny

made their debut with the band in this episode of the

    Hollywood Palace program..

  • LOL, jimmy durante.

  • Wow, I thought I knew all of the turtles songs. Here I am 52 yrs old and this is my first time hearing this song.

  • SEEING SOOOO MANY VIDS HERE ON UTUBE I REALIZE THAT 1) The Turtles had a great drummer and 2) good backing singers. and 3) flo and eddie? who was who? 4) only the lead singer sang while the other seemed to be on his coattells... anyway, i LOVE THIS BAND.

  • @bluegrassreb1 Mark Volman (flo) not sing in this song because howard kaylan (eddie) no needed other voice ,,, this song need choir

  • @bluegrassreb1 Mark Volman (tambourine) is "Flo"

and Howard Kaylan (lead vocal) is "Eddie".

Both of these guys were 19 when they did this number.

Chip Douglas (bass) was 24 and Johny Barbata (drums) was 21. :)

    R.I.P. Jimmy Durante(1893-1980)

  • @bluegrassreb1 Flo (Fluorescent Eel) is the one armed with the tambourine. Eddie is the gentleman dressed in tweed.

  • The Turtles were my favorite group, and this is my favorite song. They should be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

  • @MystryMachine

I agree.............come on Cleveland, Honor this great band, do what ya gotta do to get them in, actually im surprised they arent yet............♥ all thier songs

  • The Turtles were a great band that really doesn't get enough credit. I really like their song "Outside Chance" and their version of "It Ain't Me Babe".

  • The Turtles that included the Barbata/Douglas rhythm section was their best line-up.

  • Ah cha cha. Flo and Eddy rule!

  • The great Jimmy Durante!!

  • Thanks for sharing this great video! Ron
