  • India looks cleaner than where I live, where people just throw rubbish everywhere because their lifestyle teaches them that living a clean and ethical life is wrong and you have to be greedy and lazy.

  • If you love indian movies, check out my channel and we can have some fun.

  • Let us start a movement of " Returning Kachra Patti to their rightful owner whenever possible"!

  • kachra pati hahahaaaaaaa

  • Thank you very much for your comments sir. I hope this conversation earns people some direction. Thank you very much for your time.

  • On top of that. If we keep saying that people should understand and people have to be more responsible, we also have to be practical. If somebody is really responsible and wants to throw something in the trash. What will happnen if there is no trash around? Would he take it home? Even you and me wouldn't do that bro. And really ask your self what would you do in that condition? That's my point is. You can not stop everybody but you can take a small step by providing those resources who want it.

  • So there can be a " Don't be a tosser" in every street of India by putting enough number of dustbin. This can not guarantee that everybody is going to throw trash in the dustbin but it will at least give chance to those people who really want to throw it in trash.

  • Look a multiplexes, I have hardly seen anybody doing throwing trashes on the floor. Why? Are people coming to multiplexes more socially responsible? Do that carry their trash home? No, they are given enough number of dustbins to throw the stuff.

  • @kunaaldesai Privately own places are usually clean and that's why people prefer private service than government one. But we have to see the ratio too. How many people visit multiplexes in a day compare to how many people walk and drive through New Delhi streets.

  • @IndianSettler I understand your point but let's take a very deep view at the problem. What is the problem? It is that people throw the things in the road and litter around. OK. Any solution? The solution is start investing in that area and do what you can. What you can do? Fine them if they litter and provide them dustbins to throw. If somebody still throws on the road the its his failure to follow and government can punish hi, But we can not afford to fail

  • @kunaaldesai Absolutely I totally agree with you. But our Law Enforcement can do so much too na? India mein kitne rules hai, from no gun import to abusive comments on anyone. How many of them are followed by the government officials them selves. I think we need fundamental change which starts by educating people that they are vulnerable to what disease for throwing trash anywhere. We need these sort of educational posters where we have the half naked pictures ma Malika Sherawat.

  • @IndianSettler Lols you are right. I am part of the solution that I can propose includes your point. But yeah the truth is that there is no initiative from Government on practical front. Along with educating people, government has to provide them with resources to throw trash.

So the solution is twofold: first is to educate them and the second is to provide them resources to apply that education.

  • @kunaaldesai You're totally right, sir.

  • We also need to stop idiots who throw stuff in rivers during religious occasions. I mean "kumkum" in Ganges river? What the hell!

  • i know we Indians dont behave like this on a foreign land.. we r the sophisticated, clean and dignified individuals... but are sadly the opposite in our country!

  • good add...i am an indian and i promise to be more carefull sonce nest time..about our beauty..

  • @djlohan1 It is not just about beauty, it is also about heritage. People write X loves Y but the fact is no one gives a damn about those lovers you know.

  • brother..to write such things...so many other buildings are empty..or somone can write at such a place where it will be safe and wll not destroye the beauty f our building...its a great message to people..we should keep our city clean..love is another factor brother and keeping counry is too far from factor which you said...good day bro

  • But what I don't understand is why people write such things on public places. Who in the world is gonna recognize those idiots you know.

  • you are right sir...

  • The only Problem With India is All The Litter Other Than That!!

  • @quarkphotonect I agree with you. Even the metros are full of trash every where. It is impossible to imagine India as a world power with such trash and gutter every where you go...

  • maybe - kunaaldesai you could change your habits and take it home with you, or carry it till you see a dustbin, or maybe even demand a dustbin in places where needed. My area has a campaign called "Don't be a Tosser " aimed at people who throw trash around, orry drivers throw their trash on roadsides instead of taking it back with them.

Depressing sight for me in India was seeing people in nice cars toss bags of trash into rivers and streams, which looked appalling and stinky

  • @cusally As I said if we had enough trashes people won't use it, if they use it, there will be no one to empty them.

  • @ Casually : It's not just about me, neither it is just about you. As far as I am concerned, I am always willing to do that and I really do that.

But as I said, this matter does not end at me and you. This matter is about all the people who stay in India. Not everybody is equipped with string views and and a sense of responsibilities, so for those " Sensibly Challenged" people, there has to be some rule, isn't it?

  • yah exactly, we have to learn from this but you know what??

It is all about being practical. If we have enough number of dustbins around then we will of course be using them but of we dont have any place to throw it then we are going to throw it away at all.

I think government has to be more responsible about this issue

  • we are experts in finding others' faults, and finding excuses...

let's keep our surroundings clean anyway. let's make sure that we don't throw stuff here and there. Do you know in Pondicheri everything is neat and clean? If its possible there, its possible anywhere else also.

  • @praveenng Haha the ladies who like doing "chugli" should be privileged with cleaning their neighbourhood.

  • @kunaaldesai Desai Bhai, even if we had enough dustbin people won't use them and if they are well used, there would be no one to empty them.

  • nice ad..we should learn from this..
