I served in Iraq from 2004-2005, 1st Cav, FOB Falcon, patrolled SW Baghdad for a year and I'm against the war, it was certainly not a war to "protect America or our rights" which were never threatened by Iraq, it was just a war that the neocons (all non veterans!) wanted to start their PNAC agenda, it was a terrible mistake and unnecessary and I'm glad we will be out of there next year, so sad that over 4,385 troops had to die in a war started over very questionable circumstances.

I served in Iraq from 2004-2005, 1st Cav, FOB Falcon, patrolled SW Baghdad for a year and I'm against the war, it was certainly not a war to "protect America or our rights" which were never threatened by Iraq, it was just a war that the neocons (all non veterans!) wanted to start their PNAC agenda, it was a terrible mistake and unnecessary and I'm glad we will be out of there next year, so sad that over 4,385 troops had to die in a war started over very questionable circumstances.

Everyone in my family has served and my grandfather was in the Navy in the Pacific in WW II. I did 4 years in the Infantry and 4 years in Iraq as a civilian contractor. Nobody thought it would be"Cool" or ay bullshit like that. It's a soldiersduty to serve, NOT decide which missions he will accept and which he will reject. If you cannot understand this simple military principle, DO NOT VOLUNTEER. Pay for your own fucking college.

USSR invaded a big part of romanian teritory, we needed to free those lands. we only fought along germany just to be able to have a chance to free romania under ussr comunism. so, we fought only against russia. this war took 3 years and 2 months. as all other european powers fought against germany, we were"freed" by the russian army in '46.

Well, the uniform is not to be worn to any form of political rally. Its not an issue of being for or against. Its a general article within all services, ex. 134 in the USN. Secondly, they were disturbing the peace, the video did have other people milling about. They made that uniform look worse. Third, if they treated ppl inhumainly while being overseas, that is theiir own dam fault that they have to answer for, in all the services WE, have a code that WE all follow; rage is not the way.
