PES6 for the PS2 is still better gameplay wise than any Fifa game ever.

Once they live upto that on the PS3 then Fifa hasn't a chance as a good PES will always beat a good Fifa, always.

@weijian95 well said! I was a massive PES player in the PS2 days but started to pick up both FIFA and PES after 08. FIFA 10 gameplay is definetley better than PES 10, but as an overall pakage (excluding online) it is flawed - anyone had the patience to get through the buggy manage mode yet? Master League is amazing on PES 2010.

A friend of a friend has played pes 2011 at the community day, and he says it was awesome and was blown away by it. But he did say the keepers needed work (which in the new code the keepers are fixed)...He has seen this video, and he says this video does the game no justice at all....

Pes has never been very good online, 08, 09 and 10 were pretty bad, although they kinda sort out the online for pes 10, but still not as lag free as it should of been.

And, just for the record, I'm not a FIFA fanboy. I bought every single PES since PES 2008, and never touched a FIFA game substantially until FIFA 09. I'm just interested in the better football game, which FIFA has been providing since '09 and that's likely to continue this year - although PES 2011 looks decent.

And i can confirm, the tears are of joy - as its plain to see that the game is totally different to 2008/2009/2010 iterations of the game, and that in itself is huge boost, showing change. You're not in the stands in this game, it's supposed to mimic what it sounds like on the pitch. Believe or not, players can actually hear each other and the coach if they yell over the crowd.

And besides, even if we take that it is coming from the crowd, this is a friendly match, not a vuvuzela extravaganza so it would be feasible to hear someone from a quiet crowd.

As for the Japanese guy jumping on wood. I suggest looking up "foley sound effects" on wikipedia.

Somehow the animations look better in replays and cutscenes... perhaps it's the motion blur? Some replays look almost photorealistic! (like Özil's header)
