If you own the dreamcast version, the Egg Carrier Chao Garden used to have really deep water. And you can zoom in with the d-pad on a characters face in Chao Gardens. If you combine the two, you can see in clear detail that Sonic and co.'s eyes roll back into their heads when they drown! It used to freak me out so much.

@AmyRozu I am not an expert, but I have done my research on character personalities and other stuff (for my own weird reasons), and by what I can tell, they can't give her any more development without ruining her part. She initially served for humor, and gradually got a few characteristics. So she can have her own game without undoing her "purpose", but it can't make too hard an impact on her- no twists nor new strict specifications. Those were actually the mistakes made in Shadow the Hedgehog.

I think the only good sonic games that have come out since Adventure are the advanced games, the rush games (2 had too many gimmicks though.), and rivals to a lesser extent. But Rivals it's still almost a sidescroller version of Adventure, they just need to remove the racing aspect.
