Even in school, he is mentioned in the same textbook as the likes of George Washington and King Tut. All three of them have documents about there existence but no actual photographs. Historians know Jesus was real and the words written were a true account of his life. Go ask the History Channel. He was a real man who lived and died and did a great many things. @SirRembrant good way of explaining. Its always good to tell the listener that you are trying to understand them while you are telling them about Christ. It lets them know that you are not there to attack them but to introduce a better way of living.

when you really think about it, how are we BORN with sin? you can't use the excuse of "jesus died for our sins." if you go by the book, then only the people living BACK THEN during the betrayal of jesus, not people who were born then. i always questioned that. and to answer your possible question, i'm technically protistant but barely went to church. i'm still a believer, but not a brainwashed one like most christians/jews/and muslims are.
