FattKidd- Good point, America does have some history of arming both sides. We are currently funding Sunni insurgents in Iraq to fight the Shia insurgents that we used to support under Saddam. And of course we are funding these Sunni militias in order to stem the Shia influence that has been muzzeled for decades.
