Too much expectations for this kid and if he doesn't live up to it he'll be a bust I mean they made a song for a kid who hasn't played one NBA game yet. He's good but don't put him in a greatness category until he proves he belongs there which I hope in time he will. The Derrick Rose comparisons must stop. He is not nearly as strong as Derrick was coming out of college with not nearly the explosiveness. Look how many times in this vid John finishes WAYYYY below the rim. While he has hops, Wall gets off the floor much slower than Rose. Russell Westbrook is even a better athelete than Wall. Wall is a great player no doubt, but he has only had one season in College it may have been a fluke if he played for Kentucky his Sophomore year and he did well I would draft him if it was a next year draft. But I would say if now Evan Turner has experience and everyone knows who he is because he played in college a while. But John Wall is a very good choice I would pick over Turner anyways because he is very young and will listen to Saunders and not have a way of playing than Calipari.
A first round draft pick does not bring championships there has not been a championship in DC for about 18 years win the Redskins won the super bowl steven starsburg or Alex ovechkin or John Wall won,t bring a championship to DC.

I just checked the stats and it turns out he averaged 4.0 turnovers, not 5.
And also he didn't have one game over 8 turnovers. Although I still see your point, that seems like a high amount of turnovers but taking into account how often he handles the ball, it isn't too much. Also, LeBron averaged roughly 3.5 turnovers, only .5 less than Wall, yet people don't get on him for turnovers.

Wall and arenas r not the same player. Whoever said that doesn't know thing about basketball. Arenas was never really a tru point guard. Wall is actually a pass first pg who can also get his shot off whenever he wants. They can definitely coexist. Wall will run the point and arenas the two.

Getting a great point guard can turn a franchise around. Even before the rule changes look what Allen Iverson did to the Sixers. I think the key is who they get with picks thirty and thirty five. Also I would bring back Brendon Haywood, resign Josh Howard and move Gill to shooting guard. Now there is a sense of hope.

Arenas isn't going to be a free agent, he's still under contract for a few years to come. I think he'll be able to thrive in more of a shooting guard position than point guard and can work more on getting his shots than distributing

I was thinking of including Bosh, Amare', or someone like that but it's wishful thinking to hope for a star center and small forward in free agency. To me either Gay or Johnson fit in well, both have decent size and can play well in the three spot. I also love the way Joe Johnson plays. I also admire the way Singleton plays, especially rebounding wise, and wouldn't mind having him back

Wall and arenas r not the same player. Whoever said that doesn't know thing about basketball. Arenas was never really a tru point guard. Wall is actually a pass first pg who can also get his shot off whenever he wants. They can definitely coexist. Wall will run the point and arenas the two.

He's a great player, but it's obviously he needs the ball in his hands a lot.. How the hell with this work out with G. Arenas, who is basically the same type of player?... I can't see any scenario in which those two survive together. My bet is that Arenas (after pulling another one of his behaviour tricks late in the season) will be let off...

And he shot 46.1% from the field, which is a good percentage, considering it's higher than that of Carmelo Anthony and Joe Johnson among others. He shot 32.5% from three point range, which may seem low but comparing it to others, he shot a better percentage from three than Dwayne Wade, Carmelo Anthony, and Ben Gordon.

and to just state, gilbert arenas/john wall would be GREAT on OFFENSE.... defensively john wall can guard point guards. Arenas on the other hands cannot guard shooting guards at all... it would be a mismatch every night defensively... imagine what wade/kobe/roy would do to gilbert arenas on a nightly basis.... now i know you guys may combat it with "well gil is a great player so he will get his offensively" but we dont even know what kind of "offensive" player he will be next season.

Getting a great point guard can turn a franchise around. Even before the rule changes look what Allen Iverson did to the Sixers. I think the key is who they get with picks thirty and thirty five. Also I would bring back Brendon Haywood, resign Josh Howard and move Gill to shooting guard. Now there is a sense of hope.

Arenas isn't going to be a free agent, he's still under contract for a few years to come. I think he'll be able to thrive in more of a shooting guard position than point guard and can work more on getting his shots than distributing

Vale would be a great back up center, but hes too skinny, and really has no offensive game. And you forgot James Singleton on the bench. Theres no way there getting rid of him.

I was thinking of including Bosh, Amare', or someone like that but it's wishful thinking to hope for a star center and small forward in free agency. To me either Gay or Johnson fit in well, both have decent size and can play well in the three spot. I also love the way Joe Johnson plays. I also admire the way Singleton plays, especially rebounding wise, and wouldn't mind having him back
