  • awesome kid! the next generation governor.

  • Nicely said!

  • like obama gives a shit he dosent even know you exist XD

  • lol nice messege but its funny that an azn was talking about education.

  • Obama... Are you smarter then a sixth grader?

  • @fakerfile Hah! Nice!

  • Good comments. Some thoughts-

The corporatocracy doesn't want educated citizens.

The American Dream has become the American Nightmare.

Answer to generals Af/Pak plans-none of the above.

War is not healthy for children and other living things-but it is profitable.

    We need democracy, not corporatocracy.

  • Ethan for President!!!!!!!!

  • Not seeing the bigger picture. It is great that such a young person is getting an education in politics early in life. What he is missing is the fact that we didn't start the war and losing it will cost us much more than textbook money.

Obama is trying to balance what he promised and the impossible. What a tough position. I cannot imagine doing his job and trying to appease US citizens.

  • i bet obama is watching this right now

  • Good thoughts. I like how you tell it like it is! We need more 6th graders like you in the world. Work it! Don't get it twisted when it comes to Ethan! You go lil man!

  • Ethan,

After hearing you, I have to wonder if Obama is as smart as a Sixth Grader?

Perhaps we should lower the age limit for U.S. President so we can elect you to be the Commander-in-Chief so that the vast MAJORITY of Americans who, also oppose the undeclared war in Afghanistan, would be represented.

Job Creation would also be a better use of the borrowed money, currently being used for war! War results in the destruction of wealth, not good for a nation that is breaking with National Debt!

  • I wonder if this kid knows who started the Iraq war and got our country into this unwinnable mess years ago? Probably not considering he was a baby.

  • ....... Here's a quick Lesson for you Ethan...

    Obama is a puppet.

  • Like Bush

  • I think all presidents were, except for JFK.

  • Ethan, You are very wise and brave to speak out. Thank you so much. I pray the President hears your message. I agree, lets stop spending money on the war, lets invest in our future, our children and their education. God Bless our children!

  • You go Ethan!

  • we should have gone to afghanistan first instead of iraq

  • wow.. this kid is sooooo right... it really made me think... even though i doubt that the president will watch this i hope that it encourages the public to do something about it

  • teachers made him talk well....

  • I totally Agree

  • sooooooooooo right!

  • I doubt the president will listen to this, he's too busy driving us farther down the economy hole and sending trillions more to offshore banks.

A shame though, i agree with all the points he made

  • Do you plan to run for U.S president, Ethan? I can't wait and work hard to help you win! Like your family, ours traveled far (NV) to help the president win; still, we wait, and wait, and ...

Great speech ! - Retired Teacher

  • This kid rocks!

    Hits all the right themes:

    get out of Afghanistan

    cut college tuition

    increase education spending

    cut back on crappy tests

    Sweet!

  • this kid is so smart.

  • I hope you go viral,Mr. Matsuda. Very well thought and expressed. You get an "A."

  • That's one brilliant kid! I say we lower the age of eligibility for the President, to say, eleven? Thanks, Ethan, for having the courage to say what we all believe, and making a video that states it so clearly.

  • Out of the mouths of babes
