And a big part of the reason to Sonny’s love for Carly was because the children and the family he got with her. But Sonny’s love for Brenda was all about Brenda. He didn’t need to have kids to make her his passionate great love, that’s what’s so great about them. You may not like her and think she’s pointless but she certainly isn’t pointless for Sonny.

Carly should have been killed off in 2001, when Sarah Brown first left. Brown brought a kind of tortured self conflict and unstable vulnerability that has never been matched. It is Brown's incredible talent that made Carly so captivating - NOT the character itself. The problem with Tamara Braun, an excellent actress, is that was is too elegant, refined and feminine for the role. Laura Wright plays Carly as a smug, arrogant 1 note bitch... destroying the creative foundations Brown laid.

So if a couple was married for 60 years, they didn't really show how much they loved each other because they had no kids? @erikisthebest1 And Yes I also believe that Carly isn’t gonna stand for Brenda inserting herself into Sonny/Jax/Jason’s lives and Brenda’s gonna dish it right back to Carly and knock her off that pedestal she’s been sitting on for far to long and play on Carly’s insecurities by just existing in pc cus that’s who Carly is. She’s jealous by nature and there is no woman she’s ever gonna be more jealous of then Brenda.

@yeongiia And btw Sonny’s my fave and I would never want him to even chare scenes with Carly ever again because of the way she has spitted and stabbed him in the back, I find it disturbing that he’s still civil to her. Yet Brenda has never been as nasty to Sonny during their whole history than Carly’s been in the last two months. So I will surely look forward too aug 11 and for Sonny to see Brenda again, it will be great on so many different levels.

@yeongiia Sonny and Carly have been nasty to EACH OTHER!! Don't blame Carly for everything. Sonny has called her every vile name in the book. And your wish about not wanting Sonny to share scenes with Carly will NEVER happen. Carly and Sonny will ALWAYS share scenes!! They're inseparable. And Carly and Sonny share something Brenda and Sonny will never share, a child.

@erikisthebest1 Well Sonny hasn’t been nasty to Carly for years now but I can’t say the same thing about her. She has used Sonny’s biological, youngest child as a pawn for years. Hell she slept with and married Freakezar and took her kids to live with him – a man who’s tried to drive Sonny insane and murder him on several occasions. If Guza knew how to write mobsters he would have Sonny banish Carly from his kids lives.

@yeongiia And Sonny definitely doesn’t look glued to Carly at all these days, he looks miserable and she puts him down constantly. And you’re saying that they had a love/hate relationship and I agree. It was a sick, dysfunctional relationship built on hate and self loathing from the beginning and that’s what Carly has said and Sonny too. And why do you keep bringing up children? Let alone a child that now probably loves Jax more than Sonny thanks to Carly, a child with the last name Jacks?

Well I certainly don’t think Brenda is tacky but if she was, o well I guess I just love me some “tacky” then. Still a lot better to be tacky than be trashy like Carly and that's one of Carly’s good qualities.

@yeongiia I dont think Brenda is tacky at all..i've always loved her character because she is smart, spunky, sassy,sexy and sonny's great love. I can't wait for her to return and to see Carly's reaction because she, too, has had an active role in jason, jax and sonny's lives. Unlike carly she has only slept with 2 of the 3 and they all have respect for her so i'm excited for their interactions!!

Sorry, never been a huge Vanessa Marcil fan.....Sarah Brown chewed her up and spat her out. Also, I agree....Steve looks like he needs a cheeseburger....or 12!!! Thank goodness he finally found a good personal trainer.

Carly should have been killed off in 2001, when Sarah Brown first left. Brown brought a kind of tortured self conflict and unstable vulnerability that has never been matched. It is Brown's incredible talent that made Carly so captivating - NOT the character itself. The problem with Tamara Braun, an excellent actress, is that was is too elegant, refined and feminine for the role. Laura Wright plays Carly as a smug, arrogant 1 note bitch... destroying the creative foundations Brown laid.

@AdArmand TOTALLY TRUE. I hated Carly for ruining my J&R but I love Sarah Brown cause she's such an awesome actress & when she left GH. Carly should've left with her because of exactly what you said. Tams is an excellent actress but she did make Carly more feminine & OMG Laura is talented actress too but I can't stand her Carly I can't stand her Carly more then I could stand Sarah's because Laura's Carly is exactly what you said. GH should realize there mistakes and right the wrong, by firing laura and luring sarah back to the role that she was born to play ...

Just damn! I remember these smackdown scenes betw C/B and I LOVED it! SB will ALWAYS be the best Carly in my book! Girl was off the chain craaazy, with the hoodrat attitude to back it up.. and loved Brenda's uber beyatch attitude towards Carly AND Jason. I remember her being pissed at Jason because of his treatment of my girl Robin and his relationship with Carly. Just classic GH at it's finest with VM/SB together!
