They are afriad to hire you because by you holding a real estate license you have the ability to start your OWN PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY. They are afraid that you will work for them for maybe a few months to a year until you learn all you need to learn, you would have built up a relationship with their clients by working so closely with them, so you could literally take their trade secrets and their clients and build your own company and become their competition.
The Management Companies assume that they can not afford your salary based upon you having Real Estate License therefore they hire an Assistant Manager and attempt to make them out of a Manager and offer them an hourly wage instead of salary...OR... You have been in the business too long and know what kind of salary you should make and they still can't afford that either. Catch 22
You should consider high end properties where attorneys or other professionals live. Luxury condos are best especially if your husband is not a white collar professional or working for Boeing or Dow Chemical.
Plus if you have teeth you should not be doing property management. Okay?
i feel i got ma license too girl....... soon as they see that on my resume they be all scared that ima say some shit that they i aint pose to know. either that or they doin somethin illegal that they dont want us to know about feel me. imtake that off my resume and try again. a but i wanted to ask you, i want to find a property management company to work for but dont know how to start my seach. how did you find you interview???
