This seems like a parody, but he is very serious. What comes next? The best restaurant in the world that serves rocks? or garbage? or different flavoured air?
the man is born in copenhagen, so how can he be albanian. i can understand albanians are proud of him but all u are proud of i dont think has anything to do with albania. hes born, raised and educated in denmark. maybe his father has passed on albanian work-ethics etc. that allows his to succeed but the skills he uses are something rooted in denmark
Not that Noma isn't a great restaurant with a great chef -BUT - it must be stated, there are chefs who for years ans years, have been inspired and shown the direct influence of nature in their cuisine. Roellinger, Veyrat, Bras are pioneers at this level, please be aware of them.
Redzepi is far from the first. It IS inspiring! it is nature!

I'M a huge fan of Chef Redzepi ..still need to get the Noma cookbook and maybe if i can ever afford the trip eat at the restaurant..He's very inspiring to me as I hope to be a great chef someday.
Walked pass the restaurant so many times, but as the waiting-list is on roughly 6 months I've heard, so I've never had the opportunity to visit it. It's also really expensive - but for a reason.
What a beautiful presentation of all that is important in cooking... especially cooking for the enjoyment of others. This is not just about a restaurant, but about a culinary philosophy. I loved this video, and was especially happy to see the Thermomix cooking machine make an appearance!
Thank you for not being a Gordon Ramsay.

An interesting look at Redzepi's philosophy about food but totally ruined by the porn music playing over the top.

Well, the Dutch say the Danes are "shaped" by their nature, in every aspect of life. It seems to be the truth!

René Redzepi is not from albania, he is half from Macedonia and half from Denmark, but he consider himself a dane.
