@Shotgunryugan It's funny because I'm the total opposite. I love the live-action and hate the anime. XD And technically Sailor Luna is chibi-moon. And chibi-moon is just a brand new version of sailor moon since she lost her ability to transform when she became a queen. So it's pretty much the same thing in the end.

@ninjas05 I actually like the SailorC and SailorR archs. But I dislike the rest of the anime due to it being nothing like the manga which it's based on. They took out the best elements and changed the story completely. They had SO much to work with given 200 episodes and they just threw it out the window. I liked the live-action because at least the manga creator had input on what could be changed. So that's my story. xD

@Shotgunryugan The original creator intended Sailor Moon to be a live action show but she was happy to get both based on her manga. The original creator of Sailor Moon was also the producer of this show she never got a say or worked in the anime. Sailor Luna was there to replace Sailor Mini Moon this show was meant to be only 1 season only. If they brought Sailor Mini Moon in they would of have to make a second season to explain her presence which they didn't have the money to do.

Sailor Chibi-Moon from the anime (or Mini Moon as she's known in American dubs) was in the manga and the animated series but not in the live action. This is Sailor Luna, a human version of Sailor Moon's pet cat. Not the same character.

It was dubbed for kids to be able to understand it, like, little kids. Sure, it butchered it for the rest of us, but they weren't concerned about that. Us normal people deserve a good dub of it too :P
