Treo 650 NES Emulator

I didn't even know they made game emulators for Palm Treos, I used plenty of emulators for Windows Mobile Pocket PCs. The emulator seems to run a lot more smoothly on that Treo than it does on that iPhone.

the treo 650 sux. I just gave mines away, and i just sold my 700p and got an iphone. THe treos are hella unstable and crash alot. Palm sux. Get a Jesus Phone if u havent already...aka iPhone.

I have had my Treo 650 for over a year now and it still works like charm. Before that I had a Treo 270 it worked like a charm too until I dropped it on hard floor and it split into two.

oh come on, this is obviously an early build of the iphone emulator and i can assure you full speed with better control is quickly on the way. If you really want to get in an e-dickwhipping contest I'll pull out my N-Gage QD and show you what REAL emulation looks like, I even run Genesis at full speed, and I have a phone that was designed for gaming so I have a d-pad and buttons that don't suck!

LJP... Nice emulator, i had it on my 650.. Dont think it will work with the 755, i should try it.. It was hard as hell to actually play games though.. But it doesn't just play NES, Itll do Sega, SNES, and a couple others which i cant remember right now.. Good times..

because of an emulator? good buying choice. the treo's been around for a long time. look at how graphics for the PS2 got better as people learned the hardware. same for the treo. i remember when emulators were slow as hell on treos. look at the screen and resolution and how much longer it takes him to open the application in the first place.

yeah but not many people knew about pre 600 and 650 treos. they serve totally different purposes though. the treo is a true PDA. the iPhone is a media phone. it's meant to play movies and what-not. apple has made it very difficult to write apps for the iPhone. which is a major sucky thing.

The iPhone actually has more powerful hardware. But it is running a much more demanding OS and has a screen with a resolution about 3x that of the treo 650 with deeper color depth. So the iPhone demands a lot more from it's hardware than the Treo does.

Those are nes graphics that's not that demanding. The iphone res is 320x480, thats 1.5 times the res of the 650(the newest of the palm batch of pdas have 320x480 run that, even some os4 pdas, which could run nes emulation)

That sucks that the iphone has more power and a treo can woop it :)

oh i thought the treo was lower. my mom has one and the resolution seems kinda low. Maybe the iPhone has AA. but still. you have to consider how difficult apple is making it for people to develop software (they say it's security reasons - bullshit), and how long it can take developers to learn the best hardware. also, that emulator could be shit to begin with. I'm sure there's more than one option for the treo and soon there might be for the iPhone.

The 650 is 320x320 your mom must have the 600(160x160)

But yeah I understand the problems with that iphone nes emulator. The biggest thing being that that program is fairly new(REALLY NEW) so it needs alot more work.
