Just about every African American wrestler (at least the ones that can cut promos) have "borrowed" a catchphrase or two from Iceman, from Booker T to The Rock to The Pope
Ice Man was that rare talent: he had mic skills AND ring skills. He was way over with the fans. He was a good face and really good heel. How he didn't land in the WWF/WWE is beyond. Of course he could have ended up like Koko Ware or Terry Taylor. Good talent crappy gimmick.
I remember when I was a little kid, me and my sister met Ice Man at a wrestling show in Muskogee back in the 80s. He was such a nice guy! There was a chick standing near him when he was stretching and all that and he told us that it was his "Ice Woman". lol.. My dad also met Kerry Von Erich~~he was leaving Muskogee and was in a convience store and was lost and he asked how he could get on I-40 so my dad helped him. Kerry was heading to Arkansas for his G-ma's b-day party or something.
unfortunatley for your uncle, he never made it big outside of texas, so he won't get the respect he deserves from the gamemakers. i agree though, your uncle was great.
The Ice Man King Parsons is my favorite wrestler of all time. The best finishing move ever. The Butt But does it get any better?

OMG! Someone actually remembers Iceman King Parsons! o.0
I remember years ago when I was a member of wrestling forums on a regular basis, I mentioned this guy and no one knew who I was talking about. =(
Some people think WWE is the only fed and was always the best. Not true.

You talk about a guy that could cut a promo! It's a shame the Ice Man didn't get a true national audience. He could have been a huge hit!

My fav Iceman bout was when he wrestled Harley Race for the NWA World title - he would have won if not for David Von Erich
