    I can understand your confusion.

    She was instructed to do that as fast as humanly possible. The point was to show that the WIV algorithm can keep up in realtime with whatever is thrown at it...even on a Netbook.

  • Notice the pitch pattern when you're talking. It's only the black notes on a keyboard, right?

  • @Welocy No, there are 24 discrete steps per octave which more than covers the white and black keys.

    Thanks for the comment. The fine details of the voice are shown with no attempt to do any kind of smoothing or averaging so that you see what is actually there. This makes the display appear like it isn't solid because all the little variations in the voice are shown. Voice teachers love seeing this kind of detail. The students can work on the tonal quality of their voices and not just the pitch.
