So many modern shows could learn a thing or two if they just look back on some of the unsung heroes of the 80's...... This is one of my particular favourites. The theme was basic but thats all you needed to really sell the show because the animation was so so good...... Bionic 6 + Jayce & the Wheeled Warriors + Centurions + Thundercats = Best Childhood Ever!!!!!!!!!

No this show was not cancelled in 2 episodes it has whole series - the best episode was the one the Super Heros , are struck into an alternative reality Universe , where every one is a super hero

Good question. This cartoon is a collab between MCA/Universal and TMS(Tokyo Movie Shinsa). They did this fantastic work in 1987!

Not until now can I appreciate the quality of these old cartoons...

They have so much more momentum... so much more "kinetic" energy...

Nevermind that they are far more detailed and better executed than today's cartoons that could be drawn by six year olds...

I agree with the lot of you. Although some were pretty black and white, these cartoons had a message. I really don't see that with today's stuff. Heck, I'm a comic artist and writing and this is inspiring. These shows actually had a great backstory.

I dont feel in place in this age..

Kids have barely any values and respect anymore, i know it sounds cliche to say that the time we were children ourselves was so much better but in this case it really was, ofcourse we were all brainwashed just as hard but at least there still were "communitys" for as i remember it the whole neighbourhood knew eachother and watched over eachothers kids, and cartoons were still about doing good instead of being an anarchist.

Yeah, I´m agree... On that time, We had more interest for take care our neighbors and just be more responsable kids but today, Kids simply don´t have the same values..! Yeah, anmd it's weird because now most cartoons simply MUST be educational, but I learned so much more from "The Gummi Bears" and the "violent" Gargoyles/Batman/etc. genres...

...Oh course, kids to day are probably just watching "South Park" and learning nothing...because the cartoons they're "suppose" to watch really suck.

Bionic Six is definitly a classic animated series. 1987 was the year for marvelous animated classics such as Lazer Tag Academy,Tigersharks,Bravestar,­Johnny Quest,Sky Commanders,Visionaries,Robocop­,Dino-Riders,Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,,Defenders of the Earth,Filamtion's Ghost Busters,Etc. there's just too many to name. Yet you get the picture.
