Hey have a question, what means Broadway Musical for you? Does it have to started in New York? Because for example Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Dance of the Vampires ... started in other towns but played on Broadway
For future reference for other auditionees, if you decide to pick a song from a musical that Disney simply remade make sure that those songs aren't from musicals featured in future rounds. For example, Disney made a remake of "The Music Man." While it is technically a Disney film, it is not eligible for this round since "The Music Man" is featured in a later round of the contest.
@moojaynemoo Hmmm, good question. While the musical was originally written for CBS, Disney eventually did turn it into a film in 1997, so technically it does count as a Disney film. Therefore, yes it is allowed.
posted a video responce with Disney The Little Mermaid III Athena's Lullaby :) This is going to be so much fun! I hope I make it to round 2- I LOVE BROADWAY!!!! XD thanks!
@moojaynemoo A fandub is when you take a video, mute the original speaking voices and then re-dub it yourself. There a ton of them here on YouTube which you can watch to get an idea.
Alright, I only have a few questions that should be relatively simple to answer: First, are we allowed to sing multiple parts in a song? and is the September 20th deadline for Round one or is it simply a way to find participants?

@wednesdaywar Do you mean for the next round? As far as I know, Glee hasn't been made into a Broadway musical (yet), so no, that would not count.

@DisneyNaomi Good question. No, it does not have to have originated in New York. As long as it played on Broadway at some point, you can use it.
The only exception to this rule is Disney musicals on Broadway since this round has consisted almost exclusively of Disney songs.

@m No, you do not have to be seen in the video. It can be only sound (try to use an instrumental if you can) or a fandub.

@ObiwanDS Yes, you are welcome to sing multiple parts, as long as all the voices are your voice.
September 20 is the deadline for round one, so you must have your first video posted by then.
