Can someone PLEASE make a movie about how to do a title overlay with Adobe Premiere 6.5? This is really pissing me off. I am trying to overlay a title on my video but it just shows the title and a black background instead of integrating the title as an overlay into my video while the video is running. Please PM me if you know of such a video or if you could help an A.P. 6.5 amateur!

use chroma key, set it to black, and poof, the black background dissapears :D

1. Place the title on video 2 track

2. Right-click on the title go to Video Options > Transparency

3. In the Transparency Settings box, select Alpha Channel, click ok.

yeah this is getting me mad.

but my platform looks a little different too but i can never see the transitions. whatever it tells me to do on the video, it doesnt do it.

any help?

try as I may I cannot drag an effect between clips, I drag it but it doesn't deposit anywhere near or on the clip, I am wondering why I can't? Do you have any suggestions?

make sure its a transition and not a video effect, also make sure u drop the transition in the transition bar. i know some ppl like the man in the video can put it in the video editing area but on my version there is a place to put transitions right under the video bar. other than that i dont know what to do.

AVI has in my opinion really good compression. however I prefer to work with Quicktime files as the provide the best compression to quality loss ratio...

Yeah like Stop MOtion, IN Maya when i render things out i get like 1000 frames, but i dont have a way to make them into a movie.

You'll need to use Adobe Imageready cs2 which comes with Photoshop cs2.
