I think at the end of this filmed performance in NY, she gets in some big 4 door car from the 70's, speeds towards a ramp, jumps out of the car before it hits the ramp then flies into something and explodes...thus the crowd's distance from the stage ...

@ccryder1961 Totally agree. As odd as it might sound these days, the Plasmatics truly pissed off (and scared the crap out of) the squares. I'll never forget the old man hippie getting all worked up over their Tom Snyder and Fridays appearances; great stuff. This punk version of the Plasmatics was a literal work of art. Whether you agreed with the confrontational message or not, Swenson's attempt succeeded brilliantly. The metal stuff stunk (imho), but this period was amazing.
